I have lived near Hackensack and Longville. Minnesota for over 16 years. I have been a professional artist for over 30 years, I have used Photoshop for over 20 years, with over 15 years of web design experience, web sites, web page development, web site development, Internet, Web Page Design, Web Pages, whatever term you prefer, and also logo and advertising design, professional photographic retouching, restoration, and image manipulation.
I have restored photographs with an airbrush and computer, created logos, displays and various digital imaging jobs for numerous businesses, including Swenson's Photography, Walker, Minnesota and Prism Studios in Minneapolis, Minnesota, along with several advertising agencies in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area, our former home. In 1990 I flew to North Carolina to learn photo retouching, restoration and manipulation using an airbrush and other art media. After returning home and much practice I began getting referrals from several photo retailers. I met with each customer individually and worked directly for them, each photo being a personal project for each customer, many of my customers were professional photographers. In 1992 I began using a Macintosh llci computer for my work (using Photoshop 2, it came on about 50 floppy disks), and soon I was hired as a consultant and helped originate and implemented the digital imaging department of Harold's Photo, the largest photo retailer in the state of South Dakota, with 7 stores / photo labs in 3 states, working directly with the CEO, technical director, marketing director and photo lab personnel. I did virtually all of the computer imaging jobs, including logos and advertising slides. I also did electronic imaging services for Jet Photo and Dan Holm Photo in Sioux Falls, SD., Brown's Photography in Mitchell SD., and many other clients.
